The first time I tried Eminence

I will never forget the first time I tried Éminence products. It was about 4 years ago  and my friend Bz had sent me samples in one of her “Care Packs” from the USA.

I ignored her instructions to wait for usage guidance, and instead packed them to take on a holiday to Tenerife – ideal travel size, after all.

I used them all up in the space of a week. Apart from the smell of them (indisputably delicious), I couldn’t see what the big deal was. In fact, the moisturisers were so dense it made them hard to apply and left my skin feeling “caked”.

The penny dropped – I’d been totally misusing and overusing the products.
The Éminence range is VAST!  We’re talking 17 cleansers, 27 masques, 9 toniques – you get the picture. Without professional guidance you go giddy.

You would most likely overuse the products  too – all are undiluted. Unlike other skincare products, Éminence doesn’t have Aqua (water) as its first ingredient.  In fact, you’re best off emulsifying with a little water.

Having since been guided through the choice of correct products, and, just as importantly, on how to use them, I am totally sold on Éminence and their skincare protocols.

They are natural, organic, cruelty-free, without baddy additives present in the majority of skincare products (Parabens, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Phthalates) and contain nature’s most effective alternatives to their chemical counterparts such as retinol and hyaluronic acid.

But pace yourself. Don’t rush into it. Speak to a pro. And enjoy the journey of discovery of what, to me, is the most amazing skincare range on the planet.
